Air Guitar Regionals
Friday, May 6 -- Westville Pub 
It’s hard to believe, but The Westville Pub is hosting the regional
competition for the National Air Guitar Championship. The open
competition gives you a chance to rock out instrumental-karaoke
style to 60 seconds of a song of your choosing. Your air-musicianship
will be judged on a scale of 1-10 by a panel. You may dress the
part, but no tangible props are allowed. Air bass is a go, air
drums are prohibited, backing bands are not allowed, while air
roadies are. Once the field is narrowed down, finalists must all
compete against each other with one dreaded "mystery song." This
is going to be hilarious to either compete in or watch. The winner
gets a trip to Los Angeles for the National Championships. After
that, it's off to Finland for the World Championships in August.
